CMIT/MIT 1.5CG (Kathon CG) is a safe, effective, globally approved Preservative for Rinse-Off Products. The Chemical Name is Chloromethylisothiazolinone/ Methylisothiazolinone. CAS NO. CMIT/MIT 26172-55-4/ 2682-20-4.  Kathon CG is widely used for preparation to dosmetic glass cleaners.

Composition:   

Kathon CG PH value can be used in a wide range, from 2 to 9. To the microorganism, such as the bacterium, the fungus, the filamentous bacterium, the algal bacterium, the yeast has the strong killing and the inhibition. Good compatibility with various emulsifiers, surfactants and other components, can be dissolved with any proportion of alcohol and water, etc. Low toxicity, free of heavy metals and halogen compounds. Stable to amine compounds, no formaldehyde, low odor, no VOC. Cmit/mit CG can effectively extend the product storage period.
