Industrial grade BIT preservatives CAS 2634-33-5 (1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one)

The industrial grade BIT antiseptic fungicide is a new generation of long-acting fungicide without CIT/MIT and AOX. The chemical name is 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one, with English abbreviation BIT.

BIT Preservatives Characters:

1) High-efficiency, low-toxicity, broad-spectrum industrial antibacterial and antifungal agent, BIT biocide is an outstanding antiseptic that inhibits the growth of molds (fungi, bacteria), algae and other microorganisms in organic media, and solves a series of problems of mold, fermentation, deterioration, demulsification, odor, etc. of organic products caused by the growth of microorganisms.

2) Good solubility, miscible with water and some organic solvents, stable to amine compounds.

3) Excellent chemical stability, no additional stabilizers are required, and the bactericidal efficacy remains unchanged in a wide pH range (4to12) and at a high temperature of 150 °C. Does not burn and is easy to transport.

4) When there are organic substances, non-ionic, anionic and cationic surfactants in the system, the bacteriostatic effect will not be affected. And it has a long-term protective effect on the anti-corrosion material system.

5) It is easy to use, can be added directly without special equipment in production, does not cause pollution, does not corrode metals, has a half-life in soil of less than 24 hours, and will not accumulate in aquatic organisms.

6) No release of formaldehyde, no halogen, no volatility, no heavy metals, low odor, no foaming, no adverse effects on the added system (such as color, taste, etc.), and can prevent sludge formation.

7) BIT Preservatives has the advantage of little damage to enzyme preparations, and can be used in enzyme-added laundry detergents for long-term preservatives；
