CMIT MIT PG (Formula biocide of CMIT and MIT in Propylene Glycol)

CMIT MIT PG is the mixture of CMIT/MIT and Propylene Glycol,  a  kind of Anhydrous formula and oil-soluble biocides. It has wide applicable PH range of 2-9. CMIT MIT PG has good compatibility with various emulsifiers, surfactants and protein ingredients, which could kill a variety of bacteria, fungi and yeasts with low dosage.

Gasoline, kerosene, petroleum, mineral oil, and lubricating oil will carry part of the water during storage and use. The water will accumulate in the pipeline or container to promote the growth of microorganisms, which will block the pipeline and produce odor, affecting the normal oil. Storage, transportation and production environment. Therefore, oil-soluble antiseptic fungicides must be added to the oil. CMIT MIT PG is compatible with oil components, and can reach the water-based part for sterilization and deodorization, protecting oil products and normal production.

Specification 

Characteristics:

1) Efficiently, broadly and quickly kill various of bacteria, fungi and yeasts, and the dosage is low.

2) Applicable pH range is wide, 2-9 can be used.

3) Good compatibility with various emulsifiers, surfactants and protein ingredients.

4) Low performance, and the use concentration is completely harmless. 

Application:

It can be used for the protection of oil phase and water phase products, mainly for the long-term protection of fuel oil and special salt-free formulations. It can also be used in gasoline, kerosene, petroleum, emulsion, industrial oil, oil field chemicals, paints and coatings, textile printing and dyeing, daily chemicals, and cosmetics.

Usage and dosage:

The recommended dosage is 0.05-0.5%, depending on the bacteria.

Precautions:

1) This product should avoid direct contact with eyes. Once contacted, rinse immediately with plenty of water without delay. Do not contact with skin for a long time.

2) This product should not be in contact with reducing metals during storage, such as metal iron, aluminum, etc., to avoid product decomposition.

3) This product has poor stability in alkaline media with pH>9.0, so it is not suitable for use. The compatibility of highly nucleophilic chemicals with this product, such as S2- and R-NH2, will cause the quality of this product to decrease, or even completely fail.

Package: in 25kg, 200kg plastic drum, 1mt IBC drum.

Storage: Stored in the dark and at room temperature, the shelf life is one year.

Quality Inspection Center

Sinotrust strictly control goods quality, each lot must be strictly inspected by QA dept. The goods will be allowed to leave factory only after quality qualified. Meanwhile the sample for each lot will be kept in lab at least one year. When issues happened, we or the third authority party could reinspect.

Before new customers issue order, free sample will be supplied for test. And we ensure the sample quality is same as bulk quality.
